New resource for connecting local musicians

The new online home of the Montana Musicians’ Association is now online!

member features: send us your stories

If you would like to see yourself featured here, or would like to send us your promotional materials, please contact us at info@montanamusicians.org. It is a great way to let your fellow musicians know who you are and what you do.

Even if you would rather not have a feature, we encourage you to submit a Member Profile Form highlighting your instruments and work experience so we may actively provide referrals for any work that comes into our office.

A union can only do for you what you are willing to do

A union is not a third‑party service or an outside organization acting on behalf of its members—it is the members. Its strength, credibility, and effectiveness are entirely shaped by what those members are willing to contribute: their participation, their solidarity, and their willingness to act together. When members stay engaged, speak up, and support one another, the union becomes a powerful collective voice that can secure fair treatment, better conditions, and real improvements in working lives. When members step back and expect the union to act without them, its power diminishes. By standing together, sharing responsibility, and recognizing that collective action amplifies individual effort, members can achieve outcomes that no one could reach alone—lifting not only themselves, but their fellow workers and the entire profession.
